THE STUDY PROGRAMME
AIM OF THE COURSE
The aim of the Physiotherapy Master Degree Programme is to prepare licensed physiotherapists who are skilled to do the following:

Demonstrate an enhanced ability to use clinical reasoning skills to solve patient management problems;

Apply evidence-based principles to contemporary physiotherapy practice;

Provide services that are based on the best available evidence to all areas of clinical practice, including physiotherapy examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, intervention, prevention activities, and wellness initiatives;

Demonstrate the ability to critically evaluate new or evolve theories and technologies that are relevant to physiotherapy practice across a variety of settings and patient diagnoses;

Demonstrate the ability to meet the challenges of direct access and autonomous practice;

Participate in the reflective clinical practice by implementing and taking part in a program of critical self-assessment and demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning;
-
Demonstrate the prerequisite leadership skills and effectively participate in all aspects of health care and contribute to the evolution of the physiotherapy profession;
-
Demonstrate the professional and interpersonal communication skills that are necessary to adapt to changing health care environments, which will allow the efficacious provision of physiotherapy care to clients across the life span and all episodes of care.
Programme duration: 2 academic years (4 semesters).
Extent: 80 credits/120 ECTS credits.

Annual Tuition fee: 4 500 EUR (15 750 LTL).
