ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Who is eligible to apply

Applicants have to hold Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy and/or equivalent professional qualification obtained at a certified higher education institution. Graduates from higher education institutions outside Lithuania may be required to follow an individual study plan, which would minimize any programme differences.

  • Documents required for the admission: The application form;
  • A copy of the Certificate of graduation from a higher education institution;
  • A copy of the transcript of records and courses (including the grading system explanation);
    • Please note that all copies have to be legalized by the institution that has issued the original document or by notary public;
    • All documents have to be translated in English;
    • All translations have to be done by official translators. The translations must keep the stamp and signature of the translator.
  • The results of the English language test such as TOEFL, IELTS and etc;
  • A copy of the passport or ID card;
  • 3 photographs (3 x 4 cm);
  • The receipt of the paid non-refundable application fee equivalent to 50 EUR, paid to:

  • Applicant’s CV (Curriculum Vitae);
  • Motivation letter.
LEGALIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTS
  • Applicants who received their education in countries acceding to the Hague 1961 Convention (e.g. Israel, Italy, United Kingdom, USA, Australia, Venezuela, Colombia, etc.) Should have an attached Apostille to their educational documents. In most countries the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Education issues the Apostille.
  • Applicants who received their education in any other country (Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Brazil, etc.) Should pass a double legalization of their educational documents:

    • First, the educational documents should be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Diplomatic mission or Consular post of the country where education was received.

    • Second, the documents should be legalized by the Lithuanian Diplomatic mission or Consular post in the country where education was received or in the Consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

A good English is required because teaching at the Academy typically involves student participation, class discussion and student presentation. Legal Certificate of English language skills is required (For example: TOEFL, IELTS or other).
